Marjorie Bodell Horn 1932 ~ 2008 Our loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend passed away March 17, 2008.Marjorie Rae Erickson was born Oct. 20, 1932 in Salt Lake City to Darrell Wasden Erickson and Lucille Chelnicia Shoemaker. She graduated from South High in 1949 and married Merlin S. Bodell January 19, 1951. Together they raised four children. Marjorie had a passion for life, loved trying new thing and always seemed to master whatever she took on, whether writing songs and poems, painting beautiful landscapes, sewing, cooking or decorating. She will mostly be remembered for the pure love and devotion she gave to her family. She found so much joy and satisfaction in serving and helping them. Later in life, Marjorie married Harrison W. Horn. That marriage was solemnized in the Provo Temple. After four years of marriage, Harrison preceded her in death, as did her parents and grandson, Stuart Bodell. She is survived by her sister, Shirley (Donald) Sims, her former husband Merlin (Chris) Bodell, children, Wade Bodell, Neal Bodell, Lane (Michelle) Bodell, Peggy (Brian) Templin and her many grand and great-grandchildren. The family would like to express sincere thanks to Legacy Retirement, Canyon Creek Assisted Living, Alzheimer's Association and Residence Care Source Hospice for the tremendous amount of love, respect and attention they gave her. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 So.) where friends and family may call Friday, March 21, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery. Our country is in mourning, for a veteran died today. Surrounded by his family, Max Gilbert Gollaher died on October 20, 2008. He was 84.
Max was born March 8, 1924 in Storrs, Carbon County, Utah to Gilbert and Annie Osborne Gollaher. Max was raised and attended school in Tooele, where he was active in all sports, graduating in May 1943. Upon graduation, Max enlisted in the United States Navy. He served in the amphibious assault forces in the South Pacific during World War II where he was engaged in six major assault landings and received six battle stars. Among the commendations he received were an Outstanding Military Award, a Presidential Unit citation and the Victory Medal. His small boat, a Landing Craft Control, led the first waves of troops onto the beaches. His unit suffered 83 percent casualties.
After his honorable discharge following the War, Max enrolled at Utah State University in Logan, Utah, and graduated in 1950 with a B.S. degree in Education. He later received an M.S. from Brigham Young University and an M.ED. from U.S.U. He graduated from the U.S.U. Air Force ROTC program as a commissioned Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force Reserve. Later he was awarded the same USAF permanent commission as was awarded at the Colorado Springs Air Force Academy. Max was a high school teacher, coach, counselor, principal and superintendent of schools.
In the four years he coached basketball, his teams won two state championships. While attending U.S.U., Max met and fell in love with Fern Condie of Cache Valley, Utah. They were married on August 17, 1948 in the Salt Lake Temple. Since retiring from the school system on July 1, 1987, he and his wife have lived in Salt Lake. Together they served an LDS Mission to England from 1989 to 1991 and a two-year Stake Mission from 1994-1996. Max served in many church callings in both ward and stake, but he said that the greatest position he ever held was that of being a father to his family, who he loved dearly.
Max is survived by his wife of 60 years, four sons, Greg (Jill), Brad (Nancy), Martin "Marty" (Tammy), Scott (Sharon), one daughter, Shaunalie "Shaunie" (Bart) Fotheringham, 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. His daughter, Tawna, his only brother, DeLoy, two sisters, Iva and Thelma, and his parents preceded him in death.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at the Monument Park 12th Ward Chapel, 2795 East Crestview Drive (1010 South) Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends may visit with the family the day of the service at the Church from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Interment at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.

Fern Condie Gollaher 1927 ~ 2010 Fern Condie Gollaher, loving mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on April 3, 2010.Fern was born on the 13th of October 1927 in Downey, Idaho to George LeRoy and Alice Martin Condie. She was one of five children. She was married in the Salt Lake Temple on August 17, 1948 to Max Gilbert Gollaher. They were married for 60 years and their marriage was blessed with six children. In her early years, Fern attended school in various small towns in southern Idaho doing so well she was able to skip the 8th grade. She completed her high school education at North Cache High School where she was the valedictorian of her graduating class. She was the first in her family to attend University (Utah State) where she met Max in 1947 and whom she married the following year. Following completion of Max's education, the family moved numerous times as new career opportunities were presented. They lived in Afton Wyoming, Alamo Nevada, Oakley Idaho, Melba Idaho, Paris Idaho, Roosevelt Utah, Cottonwood Heights and Sandy Utah. In each place she made life-long friends and raised her family in the church. She loved serving in the church, especially the Young Women's and Primary. Following Max's retirement in 1987, she served a mission with her husband in Preston, England where they touched the lives of many people. Fern had a very successful career as a homemaker and mother. Her family was her life! She was happiest when she had her family around her. She instilled in them a great love of family, the gospel, the beauties of nature, and performing a task beautifully. She loved to bear her testimony, sing songs to grandchildren, prepare beautiful meals, bake bread and make black licorice. Her parents, siblings, daughter, Tauna, and husband precede her in death. She is survived by five of her children (Greg, Brad, Marty, and Scott Gollaher and Shaunalie Fotheringham), 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She will be sorely missed for now but she promised to be there to welcome all of us when our time comes to join her in eternity. Thank you mother for your incredibly deep love and kindness for all of us. We hope your reunion with your loved ones on the other side is as sweet as you were anticipating. Friends may call at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 East Bengal Blvd (7600 South) on Sunday evening April 11 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral service. Funeral services will be held on Monday April 12, at Little Cottonwood 20th Ward (1160 E. Vine Street-about 6000 S.) at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.

Obituary of Ordell Wright
Ordell Zeldon Wright passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014 in his home in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 84. He was born in Cardston, Alberta, Canada on September 8, 1929 to Zeldon Frederick and Della (Brown) Wright. He grew up in Beazer, Alberta, Canada in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains where he enjoyed working and playing with his family. They moved to Brooks, Alberta where his father bought a farm. It was while living in Brooks that he met Darleen Lybbert while attending a Sunday School class. A few years later, after Ordell returned from serving a mission to Samoa for the LDS church, they were married November 18, 1953 in the Cardston, Alberta LDS Temple. Ordell and Darleen are the parents of five children. He spent his life as a devoted husband and father. He served faithfully in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in many leadership positions. He is preceded in death by his parents and younger brother Gregory. Ordell is survived by his wife Darleen (Lybbert), and his children Gary Ordell and Jan Wright; Teresa Mae and Neil Hirschi; Myra Ann and Reed Christensen; Karen Darleen and Alberto De La Paz; Grant Edward and Martha Wright; 24 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Colleen Yuill and brothers Willis, Leo, and David Wright. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 21, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints chapel, 9011 Hillpointe Drive, Las Vegas, Nevada. Viewing will be from 1:00 to 2:15 p.m. Interment will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. in Paragonah, Utah. Funeral arrangements will be provided by Kraft - Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Dr., Suite 104, Las Vegas, Nevada 89147.

September 18,2012 Howard Garn Hirschi, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away peacefully in his Las Vegas home. Born Aug. 26, 1926 in Hurricane, UT to Alfred Howard Hirschi and Sellie Grace Demille. Married Orissa Jolley Nov. 19, 1945 in the Manti Temple. He served in the armyas a medic, graduated from College in Cedar City, was a carpenter, general contractor and construction superintendent for Better Building Co. Garn was an active member of the LDS church. He was known for his teaching of the scriptures. He served in elders quorums, bishoprics, high council and temple work. He loved gardening, wood work, and spending time at his cabin with family. He is survived by his loving wife Orissa, children: Kathern (Thom) Taylor, Sallie (Jim) Hughes, Terrie (Mike) Baldwin, Neil (Teresa) Hirschi, Cindy (David) Rice, Troy (Lisa) Hirschi, 29 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by sister Karma Leavitt and 2 grandchildren. Viewing will be from 6-8pm Friday, Sept. 28 at Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston, Las Vegas, NV and again from 9-9:45am Sat. Sept. 29 prior to 10am service at Lorenzi Chapel, 221 S. Lorenzi, Las Vegas, NV. Interment in Cedar City. UT Monday Oct. 1, 10am
